After another No Show, Pakistan’s whine on LCA-Tejas Performance in Dubai Airshow
Tejas at Dubai Air Show 2021

Pakistani Expats working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) while visiting ongoing Dubai Air show 2021 were for a visual treat where Indian developed LCA-Tejas was the star attraction after showcasing amazing flying display after another no show of JF-17 team from Pakistan air force for the much-anticipated contest between two jets. Pakistani ex-pats took to Twitter and Facebook to mock India’s LCA-Tejas performance even though it was a huge hit with local emirates present at the airshow.

At Bahrain International Airshow-2016, LCA-Tejas and JF-17 were given slots next to each other for the static display of the jets at the Tarmac but Pakistan pulled out of the airshow last minute without giving out exact reasons and since then have been trying to avoid any International air show where India has decided to send LCA-Tejas team due to obvious comparison that will be followed and the same was followed at the LIMA 2019 in Malaysia where JF-17 pulled another no show after confirming its slot.

JF-17 has often has been in news for all the wrong reasons of late. PAF JF-17 fleet has been hit with a low availability rate due to the Russian engine and due to the low quality of the Chinese spare. JF-17 fleet already is seeing high crash last one of JF-17B was of a brand new jet. JF-17 often has been mocked for fanboys who often claim ridiculous performance against combat-proven jets like Rafale and hyping of weapons like PL-15 included in the jet. Pakistan recently refused to send its bids of the JF-17 to meet Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF’s) In Trainer-Light Combat Aircraft, or FLIR-LCA, requirement. JF-17 often has been mocked by Indians for lack of any contribution from Pakistan even though it is advertised as a Joint venture with the Chinese.
