SP-34 of FOC Tejas conducts first flight; First Tejas Mk1A test bed to fly in June

The FOC standard Tejas SP-34 has conducted its first flight that will soon be delivered to the Indian Air Force. Now only the two more FOC standard Tejas aircraft are left to conclude its first flight, that will also be completed in the coming weeks.
Hindustan Aeronautics has delivered Tejas SP-27 to SP-35 within 4 and half months period, that also indicates that HAL is fully capable of producing 24 fighters per year.
HAL will also start deliveries of 8
Tejas-Mk1 trainers by mid of this year, that will be followed
by the production of 10 FOC trainer
units, that were ordered along with the 73 Tejas Mk1A contract.
The first test bed Tejas Mk1A airframe will also conduct its first flight in June that will be followed by another test bed in later half of this year.
