Under Project 650 the DRDO is transferring the technology of the Rudram-1 Next Generation Anti-Radiation Missile (NGARM) for which both public and private sector industries are in the competition.

Six Indian companies that are participating in the bidding process include Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Bharat Forge, Defense Systems and Technology Limited, Electronics Corporation of India Limited and In Comtel Limited.

Private Sector firm Larsen and Toubro emerged as the winning bidder in the last tender but the DRDO had to scrap this tender due to single vendor situation but now it has again been re-tendered.
