Israeli Company UVision made Hero-400RC Canister launched Anti armour Loitering Munition (CALM) drones

The Indian Army has released a Request For Information (RFI) to procure 150 units of Electrically Powered Canister launched Anti-Armor Loitering Munition (CALM) for its mechanized infantry that will provide surveillance capability and will feature heavy warhead to destroy tanks.

It should weigh less than 25 kilograms and have a range of 15 kilometers and endurance of 16 minutes, it must have features like fly to coordinate, fly by camera, abort and recover, and top attack mode capability to destroy moving tanks at 35 kilometers per hour.

Indian Firms can collaborate with foreign firms on this project but the end product must have at least 50% indigenous content and the delivery must be completed within one year of signing the contract.
