sector defence company MKU Limited has collaborated with DRDO to launch Netro TD 5100 Driver’s Night Siights for T-series
tanks to enhance their capabilities and to provide the drivers with an edge in
the night time.
It combines the power of Uncooled Thermal Sensors and the Optics to deliver instant visibility in pitch dark conditions and also enhances the detection range of enemy tanks maneuvering at faster speeds.
The Indian Army currently operates close to 3,500 units of T-series tanks and most of them will require extensive upgrade to stay relevant in modern battlefield.
MKU Limited manufactures protection and surveillance range of equipment including ballistic helmets, armor inserts, bulletproof vests and electro optical devices like night vision binoculars and monoculars.
Its products are used by 230 forces in over 100 countries worldwide including the United Nations and NATO member countries.
