SSS Defence delivers Ak-47 upgrade kits to Indian Army Special Forces

India's Private Sector firm SSS Defense has announced that the company has delivered AK-47 upgrade kit to the Indian Army's Special Forces.

The Special Operations Peculiar Modification package of SSS Defense was demonstrated and tested by an Indian Army PARA Special Forces unit under the Southwestern Command and was found to be superior to a rival package offered by an Israeli firm FAB Defense.

The AK-47 upgrade package involves the integration of a rugged dust cover that fits without any external locking mechanism, a new tactical butt stock, a new gas tube, quad rail forend and a flash suppressor.

This allows an optic to be mounted along the full length rail along with an under barrel grenade launcher on the bottom rail the package will also lower the recoil significantly.
