The Defence Research
and Development Organization (DRDO) has offered all three variant of Nag Anti-Tank
Guided Missile (ATGM) to the Philippines.
DRDO offers the helicopter launched variant, the armor personnel carrier-based variant and man portable variant given the success of Javelin and NLAW in Ukraine.
The sales of Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile systems is all set to go up.
The DRDO's Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile will be cheaper than its British and American counterpart and will offer similar capabilities.
Earlier it has been reported that the Philippines is interested to acquire Akash-1S and Pinaka Mk2 MBRL from India after the historic $365 million deal to acquire shore based BrahMos anti ship missile regiment.
