Project Veda: India's first Defense Satellite Launch Vehicle confirmed

The Director of Veda Project in the DRDO has confirmed that ‘Veda’ or ‘Project Veda’ will be India's first Defense Satellite Launch Vehicle (DSLV).

The Project Veda might be India's attempt to separate civilian agencies like ISRO from Indian Defense Programs that can launch defense satellites on short notice in case of sabotage against current satellites in orbit by enemies through Anti-Satellite Weapons.
