The DRDO is
building a new Anechoic Chamber which is a Non-Reflective Room designed to
minimize sound reflections as well as external noise or stop reflections of Electromagnetic
waves and resist Intrusive Electromagnetic waves and suppress the emission of Electromagnetic
waves to the outside world.
An Anechoic Chamber is a shielded room that has Radio Wave absorbing material applied to the wall ceiling and floor that will be used to test high quality radio frequency components like antennas, radars, electronic warfare systems in the absence of any noise or Electromagnetic interference.
