The new Chairman
and Managing Director of Garden Reach Shipbuilders has said that the shipyard
plans to induct the latest technology such as Artificial Intelligence in
operations and creation of modern infrastructure and technical collaborations
for building modern warships.
He also said that Garden Reach Shipbuilders will be a key contender to clinch orders for eight Next Generation Corvettes for the Indian Navy under Project-28A worth ₹36,000 crore rupees that was granted Acceptance of Necessity by the Defense Ministry last week
