TATA to offer its LAMV to Indian Army in response to the RFI of 800 LAMV requirement
TATA Light Armoured Multirole Vehicle


In response to the Indian Army's Request For Information (RFI) for the procurement of 800 Light Armored Multipurpose Vehicles (LAMVs) TATA Motors will offer its defense combat Light Armored Multi-role Vehicle (LAMV).

TATA LAMV is a 4x4 Light Patrol Vehicle that features all composite detachable gripod, a full 360 degree azimuth turret with a seating capacity of four personnel and two crew members.

It has a maximum road speed of 105 kilometers per hour and can be equipped with charge-coupled device, cameras, thermal imaging systems and laser range finder.

The open top turret is mounted with a 12.7 millimeters machine gun and can be optionally armed with a range of weapon stations, smoke grenade launchers and automatic fire detection and suppression system.
