Kalyani unveils 8x8 IFV based on Turkish Arma 8x8 WhAP at DefExpo 2022

The Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL) has unveiled its latest 8x8 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) at the Defence Expo 2022 which looks exactly like the Arma 8x8 Armored Fighting Vehicle of the Turkish firm Otokar and there is a possibility that it has been jointly offered by the company to the Indian Army.

It is fitted with an Effer unmanned weapon station that is armed with a 30 millimeters automatic cannon and a 7.62 millimeters coaxial machine gun.

It has a maximum road speed of 105 kilometers per hour and a maximum cruising range of 700 kilometers.

Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL) also showcased the 155 millimeters/52 caliber ATAGS Truck Mounted Howitzer and the Thermostat Hybrid Modular Infantry system which has been jointly offered to the Indian Army that is built by the Estonian company Milram Robotics.
