NAL invites bid from Indian manufacturers for AMCA testbox

National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) Bengaluru which has released a tender inviting bids from Indian manufacturers for the procurement of raw materials for the fabrication and assembly of 5^th Gen stealth fighter AMCA’s test box.

The test box is like an airframe that is fabricated for structural evaluation of distributed fiber optic sensors that are bonded along the bolt line of the test box, that is required for structural health monitoring and damage diagnosis.

The main requirement of the AMCA test box is to withstand the burden impact combined with lower Radar Cross Signature (RCS).
