Boeing to offer its KC-46 mid air refuellers to IAF

Boeing is planning to offer mid-air refuellers based on the Boeing 767 aircraft called the KC-46 Pegasus to the Indian Air Force at the upcoming Aero India 2023.

Boeing will offer the 6 refuellers under the foreign military sales route while on the other hand Hindustan Aeronautics is now planning to float a global tender to purchase 6 second-hand Boeing 767 aircraft from the global market that will be converted into mid-air refuellers in collaboration with Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) and the delivery is expected from 2025 onwards.
