German firm Rheinmetall offers Lynx KF-41 Next Gen IFV for Indian Army's FICV program
German Defence giant Rheinmetall designed and manufactured Lynx KF-41 Infantry Fighting Vehicle
The Lynx KF-41 features a 35 millimeters dual-feed cannon, a three-barrel coaxial 7.62 millimeters machine gun, Spike LR2 long-range anti-tank guided missiles, Loitering Munitions, 360 Degrees camera system with Automatic Target Detection and Tracking, an Electronic Warfare package, and even Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs).
It is powered by a 1,140 horsepower turbocharged diesel engine and has a speed of 70 kilometers per hour with a maximum cruising range of 500 kilometers.
The Lynx KF-41 can also be equipped with a third virtual crew member with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to operate it as an optionally manned fighting vehicle.
