Ahead of multiple Indian missile test, Chinese Spy Vessel Yuan Wang once again enters the Indian Ocean

At a time when India has issued multiple NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) warnings for the possible tests of the Agni Prime ballistic missile and BrahMos Extended Range missile in the Bay of Bengal next week, Chinese spy vessel Yuan Wang 7 has entered the Indian Ocean region which is China’s latest generation ballistic missile and satellite tracking ship.

Military experts have said that the Chinese ship has arrived to track various parameters of the missiles planned to be tested by India that include range, trajectory and speed, which are crucial to determine a missile’s capability and its impact.

Last year, China sent various Yuan Wang ships at several intervals whenever India issued a NOTAM warning for a major missile test, once India was forced to delay its missile test due to the presence of a Chinese spy ship near the Srilankan coast. IgMp
