IAF chief encourages commanders to stay up to date with worldwide technological advancements

Marshal V R Chaudhari, the Chief Air Chief of the Indian Air Force, has urged the force’s commanders to stay up to date with the latest technology advancements, particularly in the more recent areas of space, cyber, and electronic warfare.

According to a statement released by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Tuesday, he expressed his opinions during his speech at the two-day Commanders’ Conference of Western Air Command (WAC) of the IAF, which was held here from December 11 to December 12.

He also directed to “ensure that operations are undertaken in an environment of denial to bolster the IAF’s aim to become a truly agile and adaptable air force that provides decisive aerospace power in furtherance of our national interests”.

According to the statement, the IAF chief engaged with commanders from the WAC AoR (Area of Responsibility) during the conference, where they talked about the significance of new technologies, the necessity of improving capabilities, and the full employment of human resources.

In his speech, the Air Chief Marshal praised the WAC for upholding a “credible operational posture,” mounting quick action when necessary, and providing vital support for disaster relief and humanitarian aid around the world.

He emphasised “embracing a disruptive pattern of training while fostering a culture of discipline”.

According to the statement, prominent speakers discussed the IAF’s vision for multi-domain operations in upcoming conflicts.
