According to sources on Monday, notorious underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim is apparently hospitalised in Karachi, Pakistan, due to a serious health issue. Although there have been reports of poisoning, no formal confirmation has been given.

Dawood Ibrahim had been inside the hospital for two days as of Monday. There are very strict security measures, and the drug lord is the only person on his hospital floor. Only immediate family members and senior hospital administrators are permitted access.

In an effort to gather further information about the events leading up to Dawood Ibrahim’s hospitalisation, Mumbai Police have contacted his relatives, Alishah Parkar and Sajid Wagle.
