Zen Technologies gets Orders for Advanced Tank Training System

In a significant development, Zen Technologies Limited has secured a defense contract worth INR 100 crores from the Ministry of Defence for its state-of-the-art force-on-force tank training system. This system allows tank units to conduct realistic training exercises in actual terrains without the use of live ammunition. The company’s official announcement of this contract was made through an exchange filing on Thursday.

Zen’s force-on-force tank training system, which has been designed and developed in-house, has garnered approval from the Indian Army following extensive trials. This endorsement signals potential demand not only within India but also in international markets. Zen Technologies is optimistic about the Indian Army’s potential adoption of the Zen Armoured Combat Training System (ACTS) for comprehensive combined arms training, reflecting the military’s ongoing efforts to modernize its training techniques. The adoption of simulated training methods aligns with the Defense Ministry’s introduction of a simulators framework in September 2021, promoting cost-efficiency and overall training effectiveness.

This latest defense contract comes on the heels of Zen’s previous successes in the defense sector. In September, the company secured an order valued at INR 227.65 crores for anti-drone systems from the Ministry of Defence. Additionally, Zen Technologies received another INR 202 crore defense order from the Ministry of Defence earlier.

Zen Technologies’ consistent success in securing defense contracts underscores its expertise and commitment to developing cutting-edge training and defense solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Indian armed forces. The recent order further solidifies the company’s position as a key player in the Indian defense technology landscape.
