Amber Wings Launches Compact Hybrid VTOL Drone for Cargo Transport

Amber Wings, a pioneering UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) company incubated at the prestigious IIT Madras, is making significant strides in the world of drone technology. Taking a monumental step in this direction, Amber Wings recently unveiled ‘Atva,’ one of the most compact hybrid VTOL drones available in the market. Founded in 2019 by Prof. Satya Chakravarthy, Amber Wings set out to revolutionize the field of aerial imaging and logistics solutions for a sustainable future.

This innovative venture offers versatile solutions, catering to various industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, oil, alternate energy, real estate, construction, and more. Amber Wings recently made a significant debut at Bharat Drone Shakti 2023, held at the Air Force Station Hindan in Ghaziabad. Atva, the compact VTOL drone, demonstrated its readiness for a wide range of applications, including swift deliveries and surveillance.

The company is actively exploring partnerships with healthcare organizations, logistics companies, and others for the transport of critical medical supplies, with plans to expand its services to include eCommerce deliveries. Additionally, in the field of surveillance, Amber Wings seeks to serve oil and alternative energy companies, forestry operations, real estate, and more.
