As China’s third and most advanced Aircraft Carrier Fujian is set to begin sea trials this year, Former British Military Pilots are teaching air-to-air tactics and anti-ship tactics to the Chinese naval fighter pilots to take out frontline enemy warships.
Chinese Navy Pilots are developing tactics to take out subsonic sea-skimming anti-ship cruise missiles and Chinese researchers are working on tactics to intercept the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile before it enters its terminal stage for which it is using simulation and improving its PL-15 Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile (BVRAAM) to intercept BrahMos type cruise missiles.
Chinese Military observers and researchers have agreed that the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile of the Indian Navy poses a massive threat to their high-value warships like Aircraft Carriers and other frontline warships. It is very difficult to intercept a Mach 3 speed missile like BrahMos which also maneuvers in S shape during its terminal phase. That’s why Chinese researchers are busy to find solutions to counter BrahMos during its guidance and mid-course phase.
