DRDO's Tapas BH-201 MALE UAV inching toward final milestone : User Trials to be over by 2023 end

The DRDO has announced that its Tapas BH-201 Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drone has crossed a milestone by reaching an altitude of 28,000 feet and an endurance of 18 hours and will soon demonstrate its final milestone of 30,000 feet with an endurance of 20 hours.

The three Armed Forces will start getting six production models of Tapas drone from April 2023 onwards that will be used for user trials and evaluation which is expected to be over by end of 2023.
