French Rafale F4 gets New 1,000Kg Hammer Variant; Indian Navy to receive it with its Rafale F4-Marine fleet

The French Directorate General of Armament had completed qualification tests of the 1,000 kilograms variant of Hammer Air to Ground weapon in late 2022 and as per the latest French media reports, the 1,000 kilograms Hammer variant has now been integrated into the Rafale F 4.1 standard that will be used by the French Air Force and the French Navy from  Charles de Gaulle Aircraft Carrier.

The Indian Navy will also get 26 Rafale Marine F4.1 standard since Dassault Aviation has already shifted production to Block F4 standard.

The new Hammer variant consists of a GPS and Inertial Guidance kit and a range augmentation kit and the Rafale F4.1 standard fighter will be able to carry three Hammer munitions at a time.
