In a groundbreaking revelation, HAL has offered a sneak peek into its upcoming 13-ton Indian Multi-Role Helicopter (IMRH), a medium-lift marvel that’s currently making waves in the world of aviation. The latest computer-generated model showcases the IMRH adorned with an optional armament configuration, poised to carry an impressive payload of up to 1,500 kg of weaponry externally.
The imagery vividly displays a formidable array of at least three hardpoints on either side of the helicopter, a testament to its capability to house a dual ATGM rack brimming with anti-tank guided missiles. Moreover, there are indications of the helicopter’s potential to accommodate pods housing 57 mm and 80 mm unguided rockets, or even boast a nose-mounted 20 mm cannon, adding layers to its offensive prowess.
