Indian Army: Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police apprehend two suspects with weapons in Shopian

The Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two individuals in possession of weapons at Aloora in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, based on specific intelligence input, resulted in the recovery of one pistol, two hand grenades, and other warlike stores from the suspects.

The Chinar Corps tweeted about the operation, stating, “Based on specific intelligence input, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established today by Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police at Aloora, Shopian. Two suspected individuals have been apprehended along with the recovery of 01xPistol, 02xHand Grenade & other war-like stores. Further Investigation is in progress.”

“Based on specific intelligence input, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established today by #IndianArmy, @crpf_srinagar & @JmuKmrPolice at Aloora, Shopian. Two suspected individuals have been apprehended along with recovery of 01xPistol, 02xHand Grenade & other war like stores. Further Investigation is in progress,” the army posted on X.

This joint mobile check post was instrumental in the successful operation, highlighting the seamless coordination between the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway to determine the intent and background of the apprehended individuals.
