The aim of the exercise was to showcase the combat prowess and air defense prowess of the Army. The army has also stepped up its preparations in this area by learning from the drone attacks used in the Russia-Ukraine war. So that any possible drone attack in future can be easily dealt with. The army is constantly intensifying its preparations in this sequence.
Army’s brave commando eagle ‘Arjun’
The Indian Army has adopted a new method to stop the infiltration of drones increasing from Pakistan. The army has now trained kites and dogs to deal with these drones. The basic job of these new commandos is to jointly combat and destroy drones. The training of these new army commandos was demonstrated during the ongoing Indo-US joint training exercise ‘Yudh Abhyas 2022’ at Auli in Uttarakhand. In this exercise, the army displayed an eagle named “Arjun” trained to hunt drones.
Drone infiltration is happening continuously from across the border
Significantly, amidst the recent drone conspiracies from Pakistan, the army is constantly on the border. The army is constantly responding to nefarious drone attacks. In such a situation, the army is continuously defiling the drone infiltration attempts from across the border.
