Western Command Exercise: The Indian Army is preparing itself on every front. The security preparations of all the three borders, water, land and air, are being further strengthened. In this sequence, the Western Command of the Army organized a special exercise. Artillery of Airawat, Air and Rakshak divisions took part in the exercise. During this, the Western Command showed the power of its Air Defense.

During this exercise on Wednesday, the Western Division of the Army shared a video of its special exercise. In the video, several armored vehicles and cannons of the army are seen in a terrain. Which are accurately destroying the drones flying in the sky. In this video, the army has written, ‘No terrain can stop us. Army is ready everywhere at all times.

Army issued statement

The Army’s Western Command issued a statement saying, “The air defense gunners engaged aerial targets with speed and accuracy and displayed a high standard of operational preparedness and firing skills displaying hybrid anti-swarm drone engagement capabilities.” Exhibited.”


The aim of the exercise was to showcase the combat prowess and air defense prowess of the Army. The army has also stepped up its preparations in this area by learning from the drone attacks used in the Russia-Ukraine war. So that any possible drone attack in future can be easily dealt with. The army is constantly intensifying its preparations in this sequence.

Army’s brave commando eagle ‘Arjun’

The Indian Army has adopted a new method to stop the infiltration of drones increasing from Pakistan. The army has now trained kites and dogs to deal with these drones. The basic job of these new commandos is to jointly combat and destroy drones. The training of these new army commandos was demonstrated during the ongoing Indo-US joint training exercise ‘Yudh Abhyas 2022’ at Auli in Uttarakhand. In this exercise, the army displayed an eagle named “Arjun” trained to hunt drones.

Drone infiltration is happening continuously from across the border

Significantly, amidst the recent drone conspiracies from Pakistan, the army is constantly on the border. The army is constantly responding to nefarious drone attacks. In such a situation, the army is continuously defiling the drone infiltration attempts from across the border.
