4×4 Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) designed and manufactured by TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL)

The Indian Army has inducted the TATA Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) into its Northern Command.

The 4×4 Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) is fitted with a heavy machine gun on the roof and the vehicle provides STANAG Level 4 Ballistic Protection and features Mini Plug-in Optronic Payload, Electro Optical System and Advanced Navigation System.

It has a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour and can carry a maximum payload of 2,000 kilograms.
