National Security Guard to buy 192 7.62x51mm rifles from an Indian OEM’s worth ₹1.68 crore

National Security Guard to buy 192 7.62x51mm rifles from an Indian OEM's worth 1.68 crore rupees

The National Security Guard (NSG) will acquire 192 units of 7.62 X 51 millimeters rifles along with accessories spares and maintenance tools.

Interestingly the procurement will be done from Indian Original Equipment Manufacturer and the estimated cost for this acquisition is ₹1.68 crore.

Private sector firm SSS Defense will offer its P-72 rifle, Indo-Israeli joint venture firm PLR Systems will offer its Galil rifle while Aster Defense will offer its Intra Modular rifle that is available in different calibers and configuration.
