The National Security Guard (NSG) has recently initiated a tender to acquire concealable 9x19mm carbine submachine guns (SMGs) along with necessary accessories. This move reflects the NSG’s commitment to bolstering its operational capabilities in countering terrorist threats and ensuring national security. The tender encompasses a total requirement of 150 units, accompanied by 450 magazines and 150 laser aiming devices, aimed at equipping NSG personnel with advanced weaponry to effectively respond to emergent situations.

2. LML (DRDO) ASMI: Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in partnership with LML Ltd., the ASMI carbine is designed to meet the specific requirements of Indian security forces. Emphasizing indigenous production and technological innovation, the ASMI carbine offers reliability, accuracy, and versatility in challenging operational environments.
3. HK MP-5K: The compact variant of the legendary MP-5 submachine gun by Heckler & Koch, the MP-5K, is renowned for exceptional performance and precision engineering. Its compact size, combined with reliability and accuracy, makes it an ideal choice for close protection and urban warfare scenarios.
