WATCH: Amid Freezing Conditions, Indian Army Northern Command Conducts Precision Firing of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles near China border

New Delhi: The Northern Command of the Indian Army successfully conducted field firing of Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) and rocket launchers amid freezing conditions, the Army said.

The Army also shared the video of the military exercise on social media platform X adding that it is part of honing their skills to achieve its aim of One Missile One Tank.

Earlier in February, the annual Eastern Command Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) field firing was conducted at Teesta Field Firing Range in West Bengal.

The firing was conducted under the aegis of the Trishakti Corps and more than 260 missiles were fired to achieve the target of One Missile and Tank.

According to a release by the defence ministry, more than 1500 personnel from various units of the Infantry and Mechanised Infantry Battalion participated in the command-level training exercise.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday celebrated Holi with army troops in Leh.

He was earlier supposed to go to Siachen, however, his plans were changed due to harsh weather conditions at the world’s highest battleground.

After celebrating Holi at Leh Military Station, Singh said that Ladakh is the capital of bravery.
