German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius coming to India on June 6 to offer Govt to Govt deal for 6 P-75I submarines

Germany’s Federal Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius is arriving on a four-day visit to New Delhi on 6th June during which he will take up the offer of building 6 advanced submarines under a Government-to-Government deal for the Indian Navy under the Project-75I program.

He will also visit the Western Naval Command headquarters of the Indian Navy and then visit Mazagaon Dock Limited Shipbuilders where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed.

He will also hold talks on the first ever Franco-Indian-German trilateral military exercise which is scheduled to take place in 2024. IgMp
