Solar Industries Limited’s Economic Explosives Limited developed Loitering Munitions


Economic Explosives Limited (EEL) the subsidiary of Solar Group, has announced that its Nagastra-1 Loitering Munition has completed user trials by the Indian Army that has more than 80% indigenous content and can carry 1.5 kilograms warhead to a range of 15 kilometers in the Tactical Battlefield area.

The company has also developed and tested the Nagastra-II and Nagastra-III Loitering Munitions in Ladakh in March this year.

The Nagastra-II can be tube-launched or catapult launched and it can deliver a four kilograms warhead to a range of 25 kilometers.

The Nagastra-III is a vehicle mounted tube-launched loitering munition that can carry 10 kilograms warhead to a range of 100 kilometers.
