BrahMos-ER test : India issues fresh NOTAM for 450km missile test near Andaman and Nicobar islands

India has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) warning for a test launch of an unknown missile around the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the period between the 25th and 28th of April 2023 and the designated area is 465 kilometers in length as per the tweet by open intelligence source tweeter @detresfa_ (Damien Symon).

The designated area of the test launch suggests that it could be the test of BrahMos  Extended Range or BrahMos-ER missile with a range of over 450 kilometers.

Now it is to be seen from which platform the missile will be tested, it can be from ship-based UVLS or from land-based launchers, but it is for sure that it is going to be a test of 450kms range BrahMos-ER. IgMp
