Hybrid Pinaka dual rocket system revealed at the Indian Army School of Artillery

A hybrid Pinaka dual multiple rocket launcher was showcased at the Indian Army School of Artillery during the visit of Lieutenant General Surinder Singh Mahal.

The hybrid Pinaka dual multiple rocket launcher system can carry six 122 millimeters rocket that has a maximum range of 40 kilometers and six 214 millimeters caliber rockets like Guided Pinaka that has a range of 75 kilometers.

Finally, proof of 122mm rocket integration with Pinaka launcher. 6x122mm pod in pic is possibly an ad hoc solution for @artrac_ia training alone. A field optimized pod could be able able pack up to 3x times more rockets. That would make Pinaka more modular like other MLRS, thus+ pic.twitter.com/EOMhc0iUX5

The Dual rocket system will reduce the need for having a dedicated 122 millimeters caliber Pinaka rocket launcher and also reduce training for the crew that can operate both rocket calibers at the same time from a single launching system.
