The HSTDV was tested for more than 20 seconds during its last test at a speed of 2 kilometers per second and it will now be tested for a longer duration.

The successful test of HSTDV will serve as the building block for Next Generation Long-Range Hypersonic cruise missiles under ‘Project Vishnu’.
