NewSpace Research and Technologies (NRT), a leading aerospace company based in Bengaluru, has made history in Indian aviation. Their sub-scale prototype of a High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) has completed a groundbreaking flight test at ATR Chitradurga, surpassing the national endurance record.
Achieving New Heights in Flight Endurance
During the test, the prototype exceeded all expectations, achieving an exceptional flight endurance of more than 24 hours. This achievement sets a new national record for India, marking the longest flight duration ever recorded for an Indian-designed, developed, and manufactured (IDDM) unmanned aerial system (UAS).
