TATA Boeing Aerospace Limited in Hyderabad has rolled out the first fuselage of the Indian Army’s Apache attack helicopters the fuselage was formally handed over to the Army’s Director of General Aviation and it will now be dispatched to the Boeing facility in Arizona for final assembly.

TATA Boeing Aerospace Limited is the sole supplier of the entire fuselage for all Apache attack choppers delivered globally.

The Indian Army ordered six Apache helicopters in 2020 under an $800 million contract that includes the sale of 180 Hellfire Longbow missiles, 90 Hellfire-II missiles, 200 Stinger missiles, and 30 millimeters cannons and ammunition and the delivery is expected to start by end of 2023.
