Hyderabad: Jennifer Larson, the newly appointed Consul-General in Hyderabad, is no stranger to India, having previously served as the constable officer in Mumbai for four years. She has served as director and acting DAS of the India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Maldives affairs office. She previously worked as a spokesperson for the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.
For more than 60 years, the United States has maintained that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. We certainly hope that India and China will continue to use their diplomatic and communication channels to resolve any disagreements.
There have been numerous series and rounds of talks between the two countries, but we believe the territory belongs to India. Everyone must exercise restraint.
