Just one day ahead of India‘s planned test of K5 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) and amid the border clash between Indian Army and PLA in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh on 9th December, the Chinese spy vessel Yuan Wang 5 which had entered the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) a few days back, has now moved out of the region.
The Indian Navy is constantly monitoring the vessel using MQ-9B Long-Range Surveillance Drones and P-8I Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
Last month, India had to postpone a NOTAM warning of a missile test due to the sudden visit of Yuan Wang 6 spy vessel in Indian Ocean Region, later India carried out the test on a different date when the Chinese spy ship returned to South China Sea.
