As LCA Tejas rocked Exercise Desert Flag in UAE, IAF plans to put the homegrown bird into more air exercises around the world

After seeing the outstanding performance of the five Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) at the recently held Desert Flag multinational air exercise in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Indian Air Force is planning more overseas outings for the desi bird Tejas.

The LCA Tejas aircraft is also taking part in the ongoing Cope India exercise with the American Boeing F-15E fighter, Rockwell B1B Lancer strategic bomber and alongside Indian Sukhoi Su-30MKI, Dassault Rafale aircraft.

Indian Air Force plans to put the Tejas as a regular feature at all planned upcoming air exercises in India and abroad to test its capabilities more and promote it as a viable export option to countries worldwide. IgMp
