Indian Army to deploy 2 Heron Mk2 UAV's in Eastern sector by month end
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) developed Heron Mk2 MALE UAV

The Indian Army is all set to deploy two Israeli Heron Mk 2 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Eastern sector by the end of September.

India had leased 4 SATCOM enabled Heron Mk 2 drones from Israel in 2021, out of which two UAVs have been deployed at Leh and now two UAVs will be inducted in the Eastern Command by the end of September that will significantly increase the operational capability.
