HAL to complete Tejas Mk1A delivery 1 year ahead of schedule, first Mk1A delivery by this year end
With the increased production capacity from new production line, Hindustan Aeronautics aims to complete the deliveries of 83 Tejas Mark 1A aircraft at least one year before contract timelines in order to grab the follow-on order for 50 more Mark 1A jets from the Indian Air Force.
As per latest information the first Tejas Mark 1A airframe structure will be ready in the next four months after which the line replaceable units will be added and the first aircraft will be rolled out by the end of 2023. IgMp
