FOC LCA Tejas Mk-1 seen with Astra Mk-1 BVRAAM integrated at Aero India 2023

A FOC standard Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Mark 1 to be showcased at Aero India 2023 for the static display was seen integrated with the indigenous 110 kilometers+ range Astra Mark 1 beyond visual range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM).

Astra Mark 1 has completed flutter and captive flight trials from LCA Tejas Mark 1 and it will soon start developmental trials.

The Astra Mark 1 will be the standard BVRAAM missile on the upgraded Tejas Mark 1A whose delivery will start to the Indian Air Force from February 2024.
