Indian Air Force to conduct combat air exercise near LoC in Jammu and Kashmir from 6th May

The Indian Air Force is scheduled to conduct an offensive combat air exercise from 6th of May 2023 across the state of Jammu and Kashmir as well as certain regions in the states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and the forthcoming two-week exercise will involve an assessment of both newly developed and established tactics by the Indian Air Force.

Newly acquired long-range standoff Hammer missiles and Scalp cruise missiles for French Dassault Rafale aircraft will also be tested, in order to deliver effective and modern offensive counter air power along the LoC.

Indian Air Force will also test its air to air combat capability with the involvement of Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile (BVRAAM) of French Dassault Rafale aircraft as well as newly inducted Astra Mk-1 BVRAAM on Sukhoi Su-30MKI aircraft.  Indian Air Force to conduct combat air exercise near LoC in Jammu and Kashmir from 6th May Indian Air Force to conduct combat air exercise near LoC in Jammu and Kashmir from 6th May IgMp
