India issues fresh NOTAM for missile test near Andaman and Nicobar islands ; IAF to test BrahMos-A !!??

As per defence intelligence Twitter handle Damien Symon @detresfa_, India has issued a fresh NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) warning for another missile test by the Indian Air Force around the Andaman and Nicobar islands and the designated area indicating that it might be a test of Air-launched BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.

The purpose of the test is to assess its efficacy in destroying large warships in the vicinity of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at a time when Chinese People’s Liberation Army – Navy (PLAN) is planning to station a permanent carrier task force in the near future.

BrahMos-A air-launched variant of the cruise missile deployed on IAF Sukhoi Su-30MKI will be a formidable punch in deterring enemy carrier task force as there will be 40 Sukhois always ready to fire 40 BrahMos missiles together at a time whenever required. Govt of India upgrading the infrastructure of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to house fighter jets, shore-based anti-ship missile launchers, and tri-service assault groups for blistering attacks over enemies around the vicinity.
